As well as the bedrooms and the bar downstairs, nhow London has a gym in the basement which is set up with a London theme, from the Mind the Gap sign by the lift doors and metal grate entrance, to the sound of an approaching tube train playing constantly in the gym. Entry level superior Rooms (20-28sqm) have bed lights on black lacquer bulldog lampstands with black and white map of London streets as shades, there is a red hand attached to the wall as an art installation, though a fairly strange one, and a large mural of the Queen on the unfinished concrete wall, with another of an ancient British Monarch in the bathrooms. On Old Street, about a 15-minute bus ride from London St Pancras or a five-minute walk to Old Street Underground Station. It does take a little longer to get to the main tourist attractions but with bus and tube lines nearby it was never an issue. The great thing about nhow London hotel though is its location. Lots of eating places on doorstep. The penthouse at nhow London, one of Londons newest hotels and located just off City Road, between Angel, Islington and Old Street, doesnt have a vertigo-inducing balcony like the one in the Regent Beverly Wiltshire, but what it does have is lots of space, views across north London and a vibrant green shagpile carpet. The meeting rooms are on the first floor and there are three rooms of differing sizes, all with good technology and flexible arrangements for tables and chairs. Stayed in room 617 wasnt happy as it was a room for someone in a wheelchair so everything was low and smaller than normal, Room (suite) was excellent, clean spacious, everything you need - except bathrobes, these were advertised & supposed to be with room (none) I asked at reception, they said they had run out ?
