However, please dont get fooled into buying cabinets that look good but wont last. If they don't make them that wide, get an extra piece, or an extra panel, and piece them together. A sink should have as much countertop space as possible on both sidesto create two areas for pots and dishes: a place to stack them when theyre still dirty and a separate counter on the other side to put the dish rack on.

Its so handy having them right here and it adds the perfect touch to our kitchen, Ive always loved my aprons. since our fridge is at the end of the run, I like the look we ended up with: My sister has a similar setup (also Cabico, 28 in panels and 28 in cabinet) with a 24" pantry on one side and regular upper and lower cabinets on the other side, and it also looks very nice in the context of her layout. But the essential thing is that containers and scraps are easy to get out of your way while cooking.

I really like having the cabinet at 28" because it makes it SO much more accessible (much easier to reach up above the fridge than up AND over). They IMO always look better than the side of the fridge. b).
If so, it might provide an "anchor", but the other side won't be "anchored". But I think you should definitely get the panel to go with your cabinets no matter what the depth of your refrigerator is.
These types of appliances are created to fit seamlessly with cabinets, avoiding the typical protruding fridge look, and come with panels mounted to the front, mimicking cabinetry.
It's still better than the entire side, in my opinion.

With all the excitement that comes with renovating your new kitchen, dont make one of the most common kitchen design mistakes: treating your floor as an afterthought.
Ensure that you have plenty of cabinets for storing cookware, dishes and small appliances so that you dont need to go to another room to get the things you need.

It'd be easier to just get a diff fridge and I thought we might get a CD fridge and just cancel the fridge I already paid for but dh said we saved $500 on it due to specials and then the price between the old fridge and new fridge could be up to $1,000 so he's no going for that. Why will you lose 3"? Mirrored panels are fixed to the back of a black and white glass front kitchen cabinet. It is 25" wide.
