Damnit. Fahrenheit smells like what Neil Young looks like on Tonight's the Night, rugged and incredibly masculine. I would say it still works just as well today as back then. If youre old enough, you can use this to time warp to 1988. Bought this fragrance yesterday. This smells exactly like freshly milled black pepper. Very apropiate. This is that wonderful and brilliance in small bottle. its an oily leather scent, with what I think is a lot of dry gritty nutmeg, and maybe honeysuckle. From the moment you smell it, you can know. I think its because both fragrances are loaded with iso e super.
However it's not cloying because the cedar keeps things grounded and fresh. I checked the batch code and it says October 2020.

At the opening, Farenheit smells almost exactly like what my clothes used to smell like when I'd get home after work. For me, it builds up a modern fougere effect. If that is you then buddy you have hit pay dirt.

It evokes the shed you keep your lawn mower in--gas and grass. The peculiar blend of top and middle notes seem to induce a "gasoline" odor for the first hour or two. Fortunately, it dies down after about 30 minutes paving the way for a lovely smooth leather drydown for the remaining life of the fragrance.
You know that pungent shooting right to the back of the eyeballs smell of gasoline? It opens up with like fresh citrusy, spicy, green and floral notes in the background then dry down is green, woody and leathery. Perfect! This is a gas!

"It smells like something is going to happen, not necessarily good or bad, just something the scent equivalent of the feeling you get when you become shaky from very low blood sugar." This was the scent of the 90's. Not a good first impression of this frag. This one opens up well with citrusy mandarin orange, lemon and floral notes of nutmeg flower, lavender, chamomile, hawthorn, bergamot and cedar. It doesn't project as much as Sauvage, but it doesn't mean people won't smell it or it won't lasts.
But this does it right. There hasn't been nor will there be a better leather/cedar/violet men's cologne.
Look for it! Classic but not outdated. I worked for Christian Dior when Fahrenheit was the blockbuster of the era.
Recommend this vendor A1. I had to wash it off my wrist because it was nauseating. The petroleum does smell leathery as well.

I grew up smelling this on my dad and few of my uncles. It reminds me of 2000s batches .. I can tell some diferences and the old one lasts forever but the modern formula is still great, and one of the best fragrance in the market still. I would like to continue in that vein by saying that if you wear this cologne, your balls will increase in size. I guess its ok if ur into that type of scent. 2021 Batch. Nothing floral in this fragrance but I did get a hint of fresh notes which was only for a mere second. My favorite fragrance of all time and Im 33. I love this.

It really smells nothing like any of the notes listed, nothing like what I expected, nothing like how I read it would be. Doesnt smell dated to me at all and even though its a rare wear and more of a nostalgia thing, when I do I wonder why I dont more often. Ten hours plus and projects magnificently. This is how Id like to smell if I were a Man with a capital M, alas Im not. Got a great deal on a tester, around $50 for a 2016 batch. I wouldn't really call this a sweet perfume, mostly woody and leathery. Strange to say, but this seems like a freshie now.

To me, this smells like an extremely pleasant, natural body scent. Top notes: calabrian bergamot, sicilian mandarin and lemon; Heart notes: french violet and patchouli; Base notes: haitian vetiver, nutmeg, virginian cedar and caraway.. At the moment, I'm mainly enjoying the interplay of sweet citrus notes (mandarin) and fresh violet notes on the woody Iso E Super base. all i get is gas from this. One spray and a flurry of scent memories, images, impressions, and emotions flash before me for the next several hours. A lady-magnet perfume? I will say two sprays on my skin does not last as my gf barely smells it after a hour. . 
I hated this on the first spray as it was very strong and gave me a headache however ive grown the love the violet and slight citrus notes.

The lavender and jasmine are definitely detectable and really help prolong its longevity. It is the Michael Jordan, Babe Ruth, Wayne Gretzky all wrapped into one for me.
I am not usually drawn to leather fragrances anymore. She actually thanked me for wearing it Anyway on to the fragrance itself, when I spray it I get the faint citrus but some spice in the opening but it quickly dries to a strong spicy dark violet leaf and Vetiver and leather, with a mixture of green notes that are extremely faint almost barely detectable. The inside of a lawnmower in July. After reading about it and how "polarizing" and supremely "masculine" etc this scent is supposed to be, I was quite underwhelmed by it at first. This is old-fashioned but not outdated i.e. Spilled petrol that turns into an amazing fresh and woody leather fragrance. Thank me later.

It's hard to put a finger on exactly what it is, but there is something different about this scent - in a good way. My main signature scent in the 90s and has some major scent associations for me. Recent bottles are better than they were for quite a long time. It used to be a lot stronger in the nineties (like all scents), but it is still very potent. 24 hours, 2 sprays.

The old formula had something nostalgic about it. Now I'm 40 and this is one of my favorite fall and winter scents. This urges me to wear my biker jacket, drink a shot and be confident and harsh. For me it's better than it's siebling-the parfum version. Stay strong in this crazy times we are living in. The woody and ozonic notes are the most prominent ones. It packs a punch & I absolutely love this.
Fahrenheit by Dior is a Aromatic Fougere fragrance for men. Sillage? I have to clarify to younger readers that back then most perfume samples were miniature bottles, and not the bland plain vials that they are nowadays. I got more compliments from both men and women from wearing this scent than anything else and I still wear it and still get compliments. Not the most amazing fragrance ever, but it's pretty good. An amazing beautiful scent I think its an all year around sent the only time I wouldnt wear this is there in a hot summer days.

Not sure this is wearable if you're under 25 unless you can truly pull off the dangerous, mature vibe that this gives off.
(also LOOK for the bottles with the CURVY cap -- that's the first sign that you have an OLD bottle-- way before 2014 ) . it smells like old lady who had her bag stolen at the gas station.
Alright, there's already a host of reviews for this fragrance, but as I don't see any mentioning one note I find especially prominent, I'll add yet another.
I'll update this when I get the chance to really wear it. This one is badass. To be honest, it smells like the old leather couch in my basement after I have spent five hours sitting on it, naked in the sweltering heat, and had to peel my sweaty buttocks off of it like silly putty.
Love this. Longevity is 6-8 hours at best and projecting within arms reach for 1-3 hours and then after that intimate. 100s bottles into my collection and nothing can beat my Fahrenheit.

I'm very intrigued by a vintage now. I cannot say much that has already been said. The nutmeg notes are calming and confident, to me. It smells like the inside of a church or a drawer that has been filled with spices and a tiny bit of incense.
Smells like gasoline mixed with fresh cut grass with spices and leather.
It flirts with becoming unpleasantly sour, but it's well-balanced enough to stay just barely on the pleasant side.
"Fahrenheit" smells like leather. Been my cherished signature since.. 15-16?
I use the older shower gels as a "dab on" perfume - rub a few drop in my elbows & wrists -- it can be smelled ALL day (well, that's what my co-workers tell me . Wore it when we went out to celebrate a buddies bday, I was sitting at the table and a girl walked by and so OH! A true classic and a masterpiece! you wear Sauvage to the bar/club, when you want to flex and attract attention and compliments.
Moreover, the Fahrenheit line also symbolizes an unconditional search for meaning, regardless of the limits one must break to get there. It has withstood the test of time. It is said that a barrel of perfume abandoned in a courtyard in the open air and sunlight suddenly gave off an extraordinary and unexpected fragrance.
Beautiful scent, I'd love for my partner to wear this. You get an almost petrol like smell and its great. And at first, Farenheit is actually very floral - to the point that it could almost be a unisex scent! It has a great, seductive, and distinctly manly scent. So it makes a strong statement. Previous partners have used various others but this is my favorite, It captures the imagination, and takes you somewhere special. Maybe it is like huffing but without the brain damage. Like leather and I high quality air freshener.

Layering this with Bvlgari Black so I smell like gasoline and rubber tires. Smells like a recently used lawn mower sitting a shed full of diesel with plenty of grass clippings and a few mangled flowers still inside the catcher.

It would evaporate and dry off but an odour remained wherever the gas contacted clothing. could just go to the local mechanic and roll around on the floor if i wanted to smell like this. Very masculine, and significantly more wearable then Bentley For Men Intense a scent I interpret serves the same purpose. Ive had this in rotation for the last 20 years. where violet is done right and doesnt end up smelling like baby shampoo. I gave it another try today though and this time around, my reaction was quite different.
yeah its probably classified as a leather fragrance. Though it is not exactly a summer beach fragrance and is not incredibly versatile. The mature and formal version of Sauvage. Where i lived a lot of men where wearing this and every bar or cafe or restaurant had this distinctive aroma in the air. Just bought a bottle(100ml). Also look for older tubes of the SHOWER GEL as they do retain the original recipe.
I didn't get the sharp note in the drydown this time around, however it smells overwhelmingly synthetic to me. Is not a beast mode by itself, but you can buy the 200ml and be generous with the sprays, 10-12, and reach a really good performance. I was a teenager back then and i loved this aroma, but i guess it was for a more mature wearer. Which is INSANE but it gives you an idea how sharp the rest of it is that it needed that much softening. I think Johnny Depp wouldve been a better fit for this scent over Sauvage.

i do think it had to be pretty nice before the reformulations. Starts with a bright citrus and Lavender opening that transitions to a spicy-sweet Nutmeg mixed with florals. onestopplus If you are fit for it, you will be rewarded. Strong; it will fill up the room. People often talk about how the opening smells like gasoline or burning rubber, and even though I can completely see where that's coming from, there's something that feels really intriguing and alluring about the blend altogether.
My nose can't really pick up any of the other floral notes. Im so sick of reformulations for the sake of cutting corners to boost profit margin and cash grabbing to put out a parfum flanker. I tried this on at the store once. Its a classic.
This is the most masculine fragrance I have ever come across in my life holy damn. Never want to not have a bottle of this on hand.
