First, it's nearly impossible to squeeze out the last twenty percent of the contents because the tube is very stout at the neck and the tube top and, unlike the old screw off top, snaps off (and it's hard to snap-the top is just not meant to be removed to squeeze the tube top). This top, coupled with the fat, stiff new shape of the top, makes it significantly more difficult to force out the last part of the tube contents-more irritating effort than is worth it.
