The tables next to the water are quite exposed on a windy evening and it can be hard to keep things from blowing away but obviously they cant control the weather and we did get moved to another table with a heater beside it later in the evening. The food is really good, and the ambience isjust right!
I had the best lobster spaghetti it was perfect. Located near the center of Oia, it was a perfect spot for any time of day.

Was probably the cleanest and well kept restaurant we walk past while going down the main view path. Somellier George was very knowledgable and explained everything about Santorini wines. Lovely and polite staff !
I'm really sorry for leaving a bad rating on this place, because it was a nice experience, the coleslaw and the saganaki were good, until the chicken came.

Great price. There is a large selection of dishes with meat and seafood as well and there is generally a very romantic vibe at the restaurant. Fanari offers very casual but really yummy food at an excellent location in Fira. Basic food, large portions but not very tasty or well cooked.
The service was good as well, and the prices very reasonable. Despite it being a popular time to eat, our waitress was very friendly and attentive to our table.

THE very best restaurant weve tried in Santorini - Highly recommend and I will 100% go back the next time I visit. The service below expectations for a 70euros/person meal!!!! Park and walk. The ambitious and creative twist on shrimp Saginaki lacked flavor. Great food, friendly staff, great service and a relaxed atmosphere by the sea .
We ordered 3 main courses and 3 desserts and everything was presented beautifully and full of flavor. Cozy enclosed seating with a heating lamp. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the island. Our waiter made sure that everything was to our tasting and made great recommendations.
All in all a nice place. The environment was friendly and warm. Away from the crowd, To Psaraki gets it right with an amazing view and perfect dishes.

Its hard in Oia to know if a place is good, because youre never sure if the food or the Caldera view drove the high rating. If I could I would place 0 stars.
Down-home waterfront destination featuring seafood dishes & traditional small plates. We went down a narrow road to get to it, and the front doesn't look like that back at all so be mindful you need to go inside.
Five star all the way. Will definitely make this a regular spot when we visit the island again. We've passed by a few times on our walks and it always looks busy which is a good sign. We did 5 PDO wine tasting along with our dinner and it was a very good.
A must visit when in Oia. Ag.
We ordered a few things that we all shared together and were short of words.. Every plate was better than the last and as tasty as it gets.
The presentation of each course was beautiful. The bruschetta was so so, we expected a better one for that kind of place.

I enjoyed a juicy well grilled piece of swordfish, the pasta with chili and smoked pancetta was very spicy. The Greek salad and pan fried Bonita were superb. the food was the best food we had in greece and the view is gorgeous. While the Beef and Octopus are ok. Just the Lobster Paster is Abit salty. Everything was so amazing.

The food was absolutely delicious! We had grilled Prawns and escargot that were unbelievable!
The monkfish was nicely cooked and the accompanying dolmada was maybe a step too far the familiar to bother calling it as such, but again tasted good. I absolutely love delicious eating, and when paired with friendly and exceptional service, Im in heaven - thats exactly what 1800 Floga is! Food is delicious!! Argo in Fira town is a favourite of mine and it is the place that I take people who are visiting the island for the first time.
The food was delicious but the dessert and the hospitality was 5 star plus. Most the dishes are blend without much flavor.
Gefsis (in greek it means taste) has one of the loveliest terraces in Oia with unparalleled sunset views.
I was actually born in Athens and I have been to almost all of the greek islands and pretty much most of mainland Greece. I am usually not a big fan of Rissoto but they definitely know how to do it right. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Perfect location for romantic sunset dinner.
The portions of the main courses were a bit on the smaller side, but with an appetizer, bread and dessert it makes for a full meal. You must be aware though that the restaurant becomes extremely busy during sunset time as it offers one of the best sunset views in Fira from its terrace.
They gave us an excuse, but still a good restaurant should avoid such inconveniences.
You wont regret it!!! The main courses were also very delicious.

Vezene is one of the most recent additions in Santorini, and its the sister restaurant of Vezene in Athens.
We had lamb shank and seafood risotto, and enjoyed both. The staff were OK, if not a little despondent.
The pizza is amazing, location is central and the wait staff is fantastic (especially Nino, hopefully I spelled it correctly).
Simple, tasty, honest food. After I got home from watching the sunset, I didn't plan to have dinner.
The avocado toast and omelette came with generous portion of salad.
That is how good the food is. Wonderful restaurant, went twice. A wonderful evening dining to share with some family and friends. Perfectly cooked.
Definitely worth the price and the drive from Oia. Instead, we ordered the gamberoni and yellowtail for appetizers and sea bream for entrees.
But the best part was the warm welcome and attitude by the host.

We tried looking for a more upmarket restaurant along Perissa beach, just as a singular treat during our holiday. I wish there were more on the plate for the price (but this is true everywhere on this side of the island).
Having dinner under the stars with views of the Aegean sea and the volcano is one of the best things to do in Santorini for couples.
These are also considered the best sunset restaurants in Santorini as they all have beautiful sunset views and volcano views.
Its a general feeling that you get once you step foot on this amazing Greek island.

Staff was very friendly and very calm which really creates a relaxed and lovely atmosphere. The event manager helped us book our transfers to the Port ahead of time and was outstanding throughout. Seasonal, locally sourced Italian fare & wine served in a relaxed eatery that has a terrace. Texture was even and the sweetness not at all overpowering. If you like chain restaurants you can find anywhere, this is not the place for you. George is the charcoal king of Santorini! Good breakfast but very small portions.
The restaurant offers a great selection of seafood casually with large portions (compared to other restaurants) and its not pretending to be something more than it really is: a casual greek taverna with great greek food.

We had the hummus, beet root salad, and the smoked salmon pasta.
The staff is so friendly. Having a fixed menu helps with quality control, but it also allows the chef to master the menu and it was masterful. This one stood out when I ran past it as it looked quite fancy and somewhere a girlfriend would be very happy with you bringing her to, so we chose there!
When it came time to order we shared our initial request, but after asking what we were looking for, our two waiters helped give suggestions. The celery root soup was a star . Average meal in an average place such a shame as Santorini is amazing!

Plenty of seats available in early fall. The organization this app provides has taken a huge weight off my shoulders. We ordered appetizer and salad which were very different but excellent and for dinner we ordered the lobster for two which I cant say it was my favorite.
Good service from the lovely waitress who did her job very well. We will be here for a week, and we plan at minimum to come back and chat about our wine experience with Babis since he was so friendly and really knows a lot. The staff were also very knowledgeable about what foods and wine came from the local area as well as allergy questions.

We stayed for 2 nights in the Hotel and had an outstanding breakfast both days, with sunsets in the ClearSpa hot tubs, an amazing addition to the cosy rooms. They also asked for a tip at the end which I thought was strange. The food, service, wine, view and ambiance were all top notch! The staff is friendly. Highly recommended. Since we had the whole restaurant to ourselves, we talked football with the waitstaff and the chef and invited them to watch together. This was the best restaurant in Santorini!

The restaurant was previously a wine cellar and they have incorporated the design into the restaurant and it looks lovely. The food here was among some of the best Italian food I have ever had. Melinas is an absolutely wonderful place to eat and be surrounded by the beautiful seaside. Such a shame because if you keep walking farther down into Thera, youll find much better options.
I hope it can be something less sweet like more fruity kind of dessert to fresh it up. Low quality service. Now, the reason for the 4 stars is I wasnt entirely blown away by the main dishes. Argo is one of the best santorini restaurants with a view for its sunset views so you will definitely experience those while eating.
And the food is nothing short of spectacular. It was very delicious - we tried the shrimps, fish, baked potatoes and mussels and everything was very tasty.
Would 100% return, obviously paying a premium for the lovely surroundings.. and the view, but worth it!

Make it a day or 2 in advance, Absolutely stunning with delicious wine and food and great service.
We got ours with orzo, but it would be equally delicious with fettuccine.
I recommend coming around 2-4pm as its less busy and ambiance is enjoyable.
If you are looking for a sunset dinner, then 1500 is one of the best options where the polite service supports the great food and the magical views.
