is it ok ?this is good. When i turn the gain clockwise it starts to sound gated, especially when i play palm muting ore single notes. When there's no cable plugged in, there's a mechanical connection between the tip connector and another lug.

The 47,5k restistor x4 /Q4 is connected to pin 3, but should be connected to pin2 X4/P4.Now it sound way better and there is distortion even when the gainpot ist turned down.

THANKS! Those 2 10k's should not be touching. It sounds a bit gating or like misbiased fuzz. Im just getting static hiss. It seems to boost level a little. The pedal is absolutely insane ! I built the TM just a few days ago,it work and sounds unique and superior for metal other than distortion pedals that i built before. JavaScript is disabled. And the 1.5k resistor below those linking to the 22uf cap is incorrect and should be changed to 4k7. You would use these for the send jacks, connecting the return pad to both the return jack and the extra lug on the switched jack. I know there's around the schematic of the Tight Rock and I thought to build one day a kind of version between those two pedals: a sort of Tight metal but not so heavy and more rock than metal. Noise, gating, hum? jumper in those pads if you don't want them. Or getting a GCFX Aeons board.
Another Switch to change the mid response, and last but not least, we included an additional switch to mod between the stock Tight Metal and the mod Tight Rock. Nice looking vero not the easiest thing to build on, very neat, The Vero layout is out there.

One of the loops is for Pedals you want to turn on at the same time as the tight metal. In this circuit there are 2 fx loops, so each send and return goes to a separate jack. Stupid question but just to confirm if you don't want the loops- you jumper snd 1 to rtn 1 then snd 2 to rtn 2 - the reply above says you jumper the sends together and then the returns togetherCheers, Built this absolutely awesome pedal smooth sweet sustaining crunch.
