I don't get an outstanding almond scent from this like I expected. i get narcissus, I thought i could smell freesiabut that must be the effect of jasmine with narcissus. I got a sample of this from Sephora, and it's alright! I find it so interesting that people who've reviewed before me are saying, "banana", "melon", "hay". Everyone expects a stronger version of Perfect. Wouldn't turn down a bottle if I got it as a gift. This one has that covered for sure, it will be with you for the day. Got a sample of this and was pretty excited because I love the OG. Marissa Zappas Announces A New Collection + A Giveaway! If the formula even stands too close to a vial of oakmoss for five minutes, it will amp up on me and turn into something that can only be described as *swamp butt* on my skin. This kinda gets me in the throat. Perfect Intense was launched in 2021. The Body Shop makes a nice banana shampoo & conditioner that basically does this. Maybe I'll get this when I use up the OG. I also don't like the original Daisy as it's too floral. I really liked the opening on my skin but after a while something in the almond note didnt agree with me; it felt stale or off somehow and made me a little queasy and I had to wash it off. This gets only a 5/10 , I accidentally bought this one (30 ml) instead of the original. This smells like the fall season Glade plug-in scent. Unabashedly bold with a refined quality, perfumer Domitlle Michalon-Bertier of IFF evolved and intensified the perfect olfactive and created an alluring new companion fragrance that radiates confidence and celebrates originality. The jasmine and narcissus add a touch of floral creaminess, but this combination doesnt smell matronly like I was worried it might. I normally love almond and sandalwood. **Update: The banana scent turned into a delicious sweet, warm scent. This is gourmand for me and I would keep it for winter. Happy to have it.
Much more gourmand and unique. This is delicious. I like this scent until the cashmeran note hits me (which is listed in perfect, but not perfect intense) and I wonder what happened to the nutty, poisonous, fruity and narcissus fragrance that it was before. There's just some kind of alchemy that happens with my skin. I got a sort of compliment with someone using the word perfume when they meant something else. It's so weird I've tested this before, a few times, and I've always thought it was fine but it didn't bother me.
To me this smells very generic, like a shampoo. Not exaggerating. It definitely has the perfect DNA, they do smell similar but this one is more floral, a little cozier, and much less juvenile to my nose. I do not need two fragrances that are exactly the same after all. This is a very nice warm sweet banana smell with some florale and amber/vanilla. Overall its a crowd pleaser, but it needs fixing and then some serious tuning - not the latest chemical wash autotuning, but a real tuning - by a skilled Nose, who wont quickly patch the gaps with the usual cheap industrial solvents (which the market overflows with and all recent formulas and some remakes are soaked in, for quite sometime now). I'm not getting sandalwood at all. Call it Milk and Honey, or something like that,, put a cute Indian elephant and a tiny Taj Mahal on the top and I bet it will stay sold out. The fragrance finishes with a soft dry down of cedarwood and cashmeran. It disappeared just after an hour though.to a skin-scent. Appallingly enough, I might want to get a bottle of eachand I rarely like any MJ scents. UNTIL (!) Beautiful, smooth and creamy almond scent. Wasn't expecting it but I love it! It was too sharp, green and sour for my taste and reminded me too much of hairspray. Ok so I've tried this one out a few times now! Not a gourmand by any means, I think. Fragrantica Inc, United States.
starts off pleasantly fruity and sweet, but definitely nothing new. Fragrance Reviews: 1,286,791 I absolutely ADORE the original!
A bit powdery and deliciously sweet, this is tons better than the original.
If I smelled it on someone else I would think I'm smelling their body wash, and that they smell very nice, clean, and feminine. I actually really enjoy this one! I am an almond-fragrance aficionado; if you don't love almonds or almond milk, this perfume should be a pass. The almond isnt fluffy or powdery - more like fruit-syrup. It reminds me of that same sparkling note that I get from Daisy, not sure what exactly it is but wow its nice! Ive never been a fan of Marc jacobs scents but this one was different. Synthetic jasmine, with a synthetic nutty note (bordering the sweet burning yeast smell from your toast with old sesame seeds caught in the toaster tray), insufficiently balanced by the sandalwood in order to achieve the feel of coherent creation. I, Way better than the OG wich I didnt like. I didn't like it. Again tested on a strip not on me. hour eight or nine, when the barest hint of oakmoss starts to peek through. Bright daffodil is magnified by the elegance of night blooming jasmine. But this is way denser and more synthetic-sweet smelling than the notes suggest for me. Cheap body wash w/ almond milk. The fragrance opens with juicy notes of rhubarb and bright daffodil that reveal a comforting heart of almond milk. Decent longevity. Its sweet and tropical but still has that slightly green edge. It has ruined a LOT of otherwise perfect scents for me.). Yes, the intensity, silage, and longevity, beats the original but what I loved about that one was the delicate and versatile scent. Perfect Intense is really comforting and girly without being too chemically and artificial like the OG, at least on my skin. Smells like a 90s perfume, particularly Celebrate from Coty. I still prefer the normal Perfect perfume by Marc Jacobs because of the sweetness but I am happy that this lasts longer. The floral keeps it fresh, although the woodiness never really comes through. inside, the juice is presented in a soft champagne-colored hue, reminiscent of vintage perfumery. I don't get the banana note mentioned by some..I do get a slight hint of powdered sugar spongy banana sweets after about 30 mins. A definite pass for me. Its fresh and sweet at the same time, This one smells like a warm banana, no joke! I can definitely see this fragrance hitting right for someone, but that person isn't me. This is coming from someone who sprays no less than 15 sprays of perfume everyday. It's a beautiful everyday signature scent though, nonetheless.
I dislike this scent and I def would not purchase or keep it for myself. The florals in the opening are really nice. I had seen reviewers saying it was over-pricedI do like it though. Super delicious. I knew on first spray that it reminded me of something, but I wasn't sure what. This one opens with a strong almond note blended nicely with the narcissus. It is a deeper and less sweet scent to me which makes it more sophisticated and womanly in my opinion but at least it lasts a lot longer than the original perfect perfumes does. Kept going back and knew I was in it's thrall. Does anyone want to buy this one (for a lower price obiously) or swap it for the original one?
