Thought to be one of the largest and most romantic castles in the area, one can easily walk 45 minutes from the St. Goar Train station up to the Castle to explore its ruins and visit the castle museum. The colourful carts hold up to nine people and are pulled by strong horses across the mudflats and tidal creeks.
