Its only a few steps away from the ocean, and it has its own designated sun beds and a beach umbrella at the beachfront. During nighttime, is ok but lots of mosquitos. During daytime will be quite hot and humid. Breakfast at Koyao Island Resort is served fresh every morning at Pum Pui their in-house restaurant (Pum Pui means Fatty in Thai!). Their reservation manager basically ignored my email (for weeks) until I get Agoda to step in. . Not to worrythis villa suite is fully equipped with Wifi, air-conditioner, ceiling and standing fans, a Nespresso coffee machine as well as a private bar.

the hotel is very family friendly. Overall is ok but the only thing that really disappointed me is that the hotel has no air conditioner!! Dit was echt geweldig. All in all what a perfect location to find your own piece of Thai Island paradise without the throngs of tourists. BUT: you have to know that the villa is open, so there are mosquitos, sometimes small bugs in the villa or bathroom, once I even saw a squirrel. Or the recede water make mudy the whole place.?

It has little to offer for entertainment when raining and theres only one restaurant which we grew tired of after 4 days. It has the absolute right mixture from nice and very comfortable villa, fantastic garden / beach, quiet area and very nice staff. There is no better place to enjoy the majestic view of Phang Nga Bay than from the East Cost of Koh Yao Noi, where this resort happens to be situated. . Service and facilities was good with a few flaws (sometimes we had to wait a long time for the buggy, no one would answer the telephone at main reception for a while, AC in villa did not work well enough, but couldn't be fixed). 
One shortfall is that you have to constantly fight against bugs, including moskitos, but that is what we need to pay to blend in to the nature. Great place for relaxing by the beach but there are also activities if you fancy it.
