This area feels quite authenticold stores with many closed up storefronts. Shampoos and lotions were half used upon our arrival into our room. So quiet, beautiful rooms, lovely little patio for evenings or mornings. Map updates are paused. We loved it here.

The plays held in the facility are wonderful. The room was clean and the linens we in good condition. The only downside to this hotel was that the "Breakfast" wasn't much, just a bowl with a few small muffins. Wine on the walk through terrace at sun down and walking distance to a 100 yr old bar. Surprising how many huge buildings remain in this old mining town. We are so grateful that this historic miner's hotel has been brought to life with so many beautiful details. Its very large and there are so many things to see. The rooms are pretty clean especially given that many of the guests are working at the mine. Pillows super hard. I had to handle business for my parents and didn't want to stay with them so I booked a room here and prayed it would not be any problems. Very well maintained town Staff were very helpful. We had paid extra to have a suite, so we were very disappointed. I believe because owners cook in one of the rooms next to the front desk and that was causing the bad smell. As other reviews have mentioned the owners and manager have redone this place with the best of taste and creativity and have a gift of making one feel comfortable and at home. This old boarding househas been restored to better-than-original condition by owner Rosemaryand her daughters Holly and Heidi. Its fairly local (maybe 10 to 15 miles long) with the Salt River rushing down below.
