Im a little disappointed that "all" the tier 1 rides I wanted to fast pass(at 60 days out) were all booked for the duration of my stay (Avatar, all Hollywood Studios, 7 Dwarfs). We are planning our Disney Trip for 11/22 to 11\25. Originally I was planning on doing HS Mon, MK Tues, Epcot Wed, MNSSHP Thurs, and AK Fri but then I realized that MK will close early on Tuesday bc the MNSSHP that night. Exactly - you've got it! You might want to update your list of non Disney hotels as both the Hilton Bonnet Creek and Buena Vista Palace are now Walt Disney hotels. Can we hang around and just walk through the park during this time, (stores, shopping, food, etc. How many days do you get to take advantage of extra hours if you stay on site? Because you'll be lucky enough to hop around for 10 days, we might pick a few days out of your trip to head into the parks early and take advantage of the lowest crowds of the day during EMH, while sleeping in on the others ;) This largely depends on your traveling style, but we'd say you can be pretty flexible with it because of the lower crowds during your trip! Have fun! are mind boggling for us. On Epcot day, we'd recommend hopping back over to Hollywood Studios since it's in close proximity so that the kiddos can check out Toy Story Land. Hi and thanks for the info. Instead of 2 days one park then another 2 days at another? The beginning of October will be significantly less crowded than Thanksgiving, which tends to be pretty busy. Which day would you suggest that would have lower crowds? We don't anticipate a huge difference between the two Very Merriest Nites is a limited attendance event, so you'll likely only see crowds increase just a tad in the evening once party guests are able to enter the park. Instead, we'd recommend that you continue to check back to see if anything opens up on the day you'd prefer so that you could flip flop days and avoid EMH. Our flight takes off around the same time that boarding group availability opens. 
According to our Crowd Calendar, that day should only be about a 6 in terms of crowds, so we don't think things will ramp up enough that it's worth skipping EMH all together. Special events, new attractions or peak times are the main reasons why Disney may switch up the schedule. There is also one at animal kingdom which I think would be good for Everest a few times before park gets busy. Be sure to get there early, as sometimes you're able to get in early :) The buses run an hour before Extra Magic Hours begin at all of the resorts, so we'd either count on the buses or schedule a ride share service ahead of time. We would definitely try for Extra Magic Hours (and we recommend getting there about half an hour before the posted opening time for EMH, as sometimes you can sneak in a little earlier).
