The Airlinks Lift Kit simply adjusts the link length to trick the system to sit at a higher ride height while in Standard Mode. If you have the Quadra-lift airbag suspension, unfortunately nothing can be done to level or to lift your vehicle, sorry :^(. 
Also I had to use a deadblow hammer to get the UCA's into place. 
When the GC was auto lowered in the park mode and I drove away slowly, I noticed the tire rubbing when turning. The only difference is in the tires if you change them. Drives like shit now. No need to remove axles, brakes, or to go through the dangerous procedure of removing the coil springs. Rocky Road kits are proudly MADE IN THE USA!!! Looks great. Bottom line, its a nice way to add some extra boost to your front end if the nose-down position is bothering you. Seems it should go down as you both increased tire size and drive at a higher ride height/less aerodynamic position. RRO kit.
I would then have to readjust my ride height before the next obstacle, which became quite a hassle. I've been trying to find side-by-side photos of before and after for each lift with the same tires. It allowed me to get 275/55 R20 Continental TerrainContacts on with 0 rubbing. You'll also find PLENTIFULCOMPLAINTSABOUTOTHER WK2 leveling kits on the market because they ride so stiff and rough. I'm actually surprised it fit at all, When I bought the tires, I had been planning to just stick it in a roof rack. Mine are 275/65/18, the speedo is off by about 3mph at 75mph, it's not too bad. At this point I needed a fix, as I could not drive my car around without damaging it. Rocky Road will have specific wheel spacers for this kit available this spring. The RRO kit is very well made and heavy duty. I think the alignment was mostly necessary for tire wear concerns, it didn't feel unsafe at all. A deadblow hammer will also be useful, and an impact driver will help (but not required, if you have a good breaker-bar). After much research, I came to the conclusion that the Airlinks Lift Kit was my answer. Driver side front required pulling the CV out of the differential, it was impossible to get the strut out otherwise. I went with a larger more aggressive A/T tire which has a slightly larger diameter and stiffer side wall so makes the ride a little stiffer. Hopefully, I'll be able to schedule an installation with a local shop in a few weeks. Took all weekend, and wasn't easy. So the diameter is fine (but tight), but the width is a bit too much. I needed to compress the rear springs to get them in and out, I wasn't able to do it without compressing the springs. JavaScript is disabled. I am strongly considering this for my WK2 to alleviate some rubbing up front. The ride quality is almost identical to stock with the RRO kit installed. About a year ago I upgraded my Grand Cherokee with larger, more aggressive tires. If I had to do it again tomorrow, knowing what I know now, it probably would take about 8-10 hours. The welds on the RRO go all the way around the spacers and are finished and powder coated really nice. I specifically needed 10mm, 13mm, 15mm, 18mm, and 27mm, in addition to a 32mm socket for the axle. Our leveling kit involves installing heavy duty metal spacers OUTSIDE of your strut assembly. These modifications caused serious rubbing in my wheel well to the point that my front tires began catching on the wheel well trim every time I turned my wheels. My Grand Cherokee has an adjustable air suspension, and I noticed that I was not experiencing any rubbing at Off-Road 1 Mode. And that's exactly what the Rocky Road 2.5 to 1 lift/leveling kit has done. Your tire center may be able to help with recommendations since tire manufacturers use different sizing formulas so the fit will always vary from one brand to the next. Thanks for the response and explanation of the RRO kit. I read a few reviews where folks were missing nuts/bolts etc from RRO when they ordered stuff so that's what started me looking elsewhere. I would say they added maybe 1 hour of work. I was able to bolt it back on after everything else was done. How did your install go?? We have developed an easy to isntall WK2 leveling kit that does not adversely affect the ride quality on your brand new Jeep as other leveling kits in the market do. To install, simply remove your stock links that are visible on your air coil. I've been trying to decide if it would look dumb to do a 2 inch lift and keeping the same tires. Pictured at right with P265/65 R18 tires. Vehicle Specific Design: The Rough Country 2in Leveling Kit is engineered to fit the Grand Cherokee WK2. However, I used them to fit my 32-inch tires with 1.75 inch spacers. Airlinks do not require any technical changes to the vehicles computer. While our lift will create the vertical height you need, you will have to watch the width and backspacing carefully for tire clearance. I want to note that since you have increased the standard ride height to a level comparable to Off-road 1 Mode, the Off-Road 1 Mode in your Grand Cherokee is now at a comparable level to Off-road 2 mode before the install. Not sure what negative effects it has not running with them but ????. Oversized / Unique shaped packages are most affected and may not apply to your specific purchase(s). Rocky Road to the rescue! We tested a variety of tire sizes and found that a 33" OD tire would fit with a little trimming in the felt fender liners (and 1" wheel spacers mandatory). Don't forget to have your alignment done after doing the lift. Looks great, nothing to crazy but just makes it look a ton better! All other kits, those by "US Companies" even, are made in China. Since installing my Airlinks, I have been very satisfied with the final product. Also I'll add pics in a little bit! There are quite a few lift discussion threads as well as photos in the photo and tire sticky threads to give you a rough idea what the lift kit can do compared with others. They are most likely made of polycarbonate not metal like the RRO kit. My wife loves how the front of her Grand Cherokee sits. You'll be fine. We apologize for any inconveniences.

After that, I did the rears (by myself) which took like 3 hours total. I have the RC kit running duratracs 275/65/18 had it for a little over a year now no issues. Had it 2 years and zero issues. Honestly, it felt exactly the same before and after the alignment was done, so I don't think it was that far off. Going to order there retrofit kit and ditch my air suspension on my 2013 overland. Now my rig has larger tires and a wider track length, and I do not have to worry about rubbing. Should have it installed on the 27th of August. To reiterate if you buy those kits to save $10-20 for Chinese made parts, you WILL end up spending $1-200 more for the installation over a Rocky Road kit. Passenger side front I was able to install the spacer without even removing the strut assembly at all - I just disconnected the top and bottom, and was able to put the spacer up there and screw it together in place. I also made the decision to install 1.75 inch Spidertrax wheel spacers to increase my track width for a more rugged look and more stability off-road.

Not bad considering to put the same tire on an older model Jeep Cherokee, you would have to install a 6" lift kit! Do you think this will work for me? With the wider tire I'd have to get a thinner diameter-matching spare to have any hope of it fitting in the spare well. It wasn't in the instructions, but I had to completely unbolt the anti-sway bar from the front end, I couldn't get the suspension apart and back together without doing that.
