For the Excellence Punta Cana because of the sheer size of the beach, there is not much value in this benefit. The chain has seen a huge expansion since 2000 and now has three resorts in the Punta Cana region alone.
Digging deep into our data, we found the most sought-after all-inclusive resorts around the world. When any delivery happened large trucks would drive past the suites, which was quite noisy and off-putting.

There's no need to claim sun loungers at the beach or two pools (there's a third private pool and dedicated beach area for Excellence Club guests) since the main pool runs the entire length of the resort and the beach is spacious, allowing plenty of room for everyone.
Pasta selections, as you like it.meat and seafood dishes infused with fresh ingredients and artfully prepared to five star standards. There is also a $10 fee that must be paid when travelling entering Punta Cana airport.

I dont think I saw a piece of rubbish at all during our stay. Although that may not seem like enough for a resort this size. There Is an extensive gym on offer here.
Tableside entertainment is a fun touch.
Nightly entertainment rotates on a weekly basis, so there should be a different show every night for seven days. Oregano overlooks the main pool and serves a casually elegant spread of pizzas, pastas, and salads. Room service is available 24/7, and Excellence Club guests have a larger menu with more selections. Upgrading to the Excellence Club gets guests express check-in service, access to a VIP lounge, private pool, private section of the beach with chic sun loungers, and a private restaurant and bar. The service, food, beach, and communal areas are all very similar to the other resorts.
Lifeguard stations are scattered along the sand, but they aren't always manned with lifeguards.
There is also a large selection of drinks available in your room.
These are things like paddleboards, surfboards, and kayaks. Best of all, reservations are never required so decide what restaurant to try when the mood strikes you. Marble bathrooms are large with dual sinks, spacious showers with rain showerheads, generous toiletries, and separate toilets. The food selection here is really good. It also serves up all of your caffeine-infused drinks. Although organized fun isnt usually our cup of tea, we did really enjoy the silent disco. Think of it as a bit of the Old World in Punta Cana.Open from 6:00 pm - 2:00 am. The rooms at the Excellence Punta Cana are definitely on the smaller side when you compare them to other offerings that the Excellence has. An adjacent terrace has heated loungers, Staff serve chocolate-covered strawberries and Champagne to guests after treatments. Note that some restaurants require a dress code, such as long pants for men.
From soft white sand to turquoise water its truly stunning. Although this is not a restaurant there are a few tasty treats available here. The room service menu is very extensive, so make sure you make the most of it.

The atmosphere here was popping and it was a lot of fun here. We had read that the water can be a little choppy here, but we didnt experience that. The Excellence Punta Cana hit it out of the park with the service. All products are independently selected by our writers and editors. Flavor Market has a cozy Spanish-style ambience and tapas for dinner.
With luxury service, food and amenities we found it very hard to find faults in this resort. This is an adults-only resort, if youre looking for a quality resort that is on the same level as the Excellence Punta Cana, but you can bring the kids then we suggest checking out the Finest Playa Mujeres which is a sister hotel to the Excellence.
With food, drinks, tips, and activities included in the room rate, guests are free to leave their wallets behind and take it easy.
The Excellence does offer a shuttle to and from the airport. Some of them actually add value while others are more for show. All rooms come with furnished terraces or balconies, coming with either garden, mountain, or ocean views. The second pool is in a garden setting, and has a waterfall infinity edge.
There was a range of entertainment that was put on in the evenings. Enjoy a buffet breakfast and lunch with international dishes and a variety of food stations. Walkers will be in paradise -- the beach continues for miles in either direction. There are a number of fitness classes that are put on by the staff such as Yoga at the Gazebo and water aerobics to name a few.
Tapas is one of our favorite styles of food and Flavour market didnt disappoint.

Its exciting to scroll through an all-inclusive resorts, Theres one thing no one can control on vacation and thats the weather. The other great thing to do is a day trip to Saona Island, which is a picture-perfect beach that is well worth the trip. Although we were staying in an Excellence club room and had access to a private area, we found that the main part of the beach was never too busy and no matter what time of day you went.
There are a number of rooms that are facing a delivery road at the back of the buildings where the rooms are located. These will be the likes of Grey Goose, Johnny Walker Black Label, Absolut Vodka to name a few. We were a little disappointed with the Pizzas here as the base of the pizza was a little undercooked. If there is a game on this is the perfect spot to watch a game and grab a beer and some food.
There was more than enough equipment with loads of cardio machines, free weights, machine weights, and a studio area.
Its a really lovely spot for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Lobster House serves up tasty a la carte continental breakfast menu.

At the Excellence resorts, you can see that the management team have put a lot of thought into the variety of choice and this is on the show with their cocktail menu. We especially enjoyed the surf and turf. A multi-million-dollar renovation in 2017 gave the resort a fresh, contemporary look thats both elegant and relaxed. You are greeted by a staff member that takes your bags off you.
With the EC youre in room liquor and the bottles on offer in the EC loungers are premium options.
The elegant, open-air lobby is one of the few in Punta Cana with a view of the beach, so guests get an immediate introduction to a slice of paradise, and you can smell the salty ocean as soon as the taxi door opens on arrival -- at which point you'll be welcomed with a glass of Champagne and a chilled towel. We used this a few times throughout our stay. You can also ask in the spa reception, but its well worth doing as the discounts are pretty good.

The hotel feels bigger than its sister properties, thanks to a palatial lobby leading to a jaw-dropping, Beach at the Paradisus Cancun/Oyster If there was a popularity contest for sunny vacation spots offering a seemingly endless number of all-inclusive resorts to choose from, Cancun in Mexico and Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic would undoubtedly fall at the top of the list.
