Due to a combination of city ordinances and lack of space, Dunes Village Resort can no longer accept trailers on an overnight basis. We had the best time ever!!

I have a 6 year old and thought if the weather was bad this hotel would be perfect. We competed against other families in a candy bingo contest one evening, and scored some boxes of Whoppers and Tootsie Pops. Even though the resort is not onthe boardwalk, it is centrally located putting you within a 10 minute drive of many good restaurants and the major Myrtle Beach outlet malls and family entertainment centres. It is a beautiful place to stay. We love it so much we hope to one day be able to buy one of the units! One of the best vacation, we was in the Palms building, the service was the best. We love dunes village resort we stay there every year we love everything about it. This is our 2nd tome staying here the first time we had a studio room this time we had a 2 bedroom condo with ocean front views. Far enough from the craziness but close enough to all the fun! the pools are wonderful! The service was fantastic, the breakfast buffet was delicious and the concierge was awesome and got us a great deal on a couple places. The weather has not ever ruined our vacations because of this. Our only dissatisfaction was the quality of the actual hotel room. He loves the water ! We loved this place! Very cllean good service & food. The rooms were clean and up to date. There are four on-site dining options for your convenience. Main reason is bc of the indoor water park for our kids! Not worth the money! We loved Dunes Village. We had weather in the low 60's and 70's and the breeze coming in through the water park/ pools made it almost unbearable to get in. Everyone was so great. We love the ice cream truck visits and our morning Starbucks. The playground offers much more than a slide and a few swings. The main attraction at the Dunes Village Resort is Myrtle Beach's only indoor water park. If you need to work or work-out while on vacation, Dunes Village has a business center and fitness center. Always smiling and greeting guests. The landscaping is so pretty with all the flowers. Love Dunes Village have been going there for the past 10-15 yrs, can't imagine staying anywhere else. Due to COVID-19 we are taking safety measures for our staff and guests. The Admirals Room serves a daily breakfast buffet for a fee and the Captains Cafe serves lunch and dinner. Received an upgrade upon arrival that was a pleasant surprise. The staff is great, the accomodations are the very best for family's and it is very safe and clean. We've been going to Myrtle Beach for many years and this is the best place we've stayed at so far. it is not the newest or shiniest of hotels but it was clean and friendly.

We loved our stay at Dunes Village at myrtle beach, my kids had so much fun at the indoor water slides while the adults relaxed in the hot tub. Love the cozy bar in the resort too. Discounted rates must be booked in advance.

The best part was the Pavilion. We have stayed there the last four years. Everything that I was looking for. Expect chilly weather in the winter months, and don't expect to swim in the ocean. Water features include two indoor waterparks, indoor and outdoor lazy rivers, adult waterslides, Jacuzzi tubs, water playground, and oceanfront pool. This was our third visit and it did not disappoint us. My family and I stayed here for a week. There's aPerk's Up Coffee Shopin the lobby. A clean room is always the most important and Dunes Village rooms are impecable. Bed was extremely comfortable, and all of the hotel staff could not have been friendlier! The Myrtle Beach International Airport is eight miles from the resort. Both water parks will get crowded when the weather prohibits outdoor swimming. * The Vacation Safeguard Plan fee is non-refundable and must be added within 24 hours of confirming the reservation. We will be back around Thanksgiving and can't wait! Rain or shine i knew she would have a great time and i wasnt wrong. Staff was very accommodating for my son in a wheelchair with special needs. The security is great. Lots of activities to stay busy! Very nice hotel and water park which was great for kids as the weather unfortunately didn't cooperate. I loved it! All the staff were very friendly. One feature of the Dunes, which meant a lot to me, was the employees. Most of the room configurations have a separate bedroom space, allowing you and your spouse to spend time together after the kids are in bed. There arent a lot of extra, Memorial Day feels like a distant memory, July Fourth is finished, and your summer Fridays are fleeting by. Going back in the weeks!!! I have stayed there for 3 years. It was a great place to get away for tge weekend. As far as in-room safety measures are concerned, the sliding glass door leading to the balcony have a lock in the handle, and an additional slide latch, which is too high for children to reach. The waterpark is part of hotel which makes it great for kids. My daughter loved both indoor parks! The cabinets and drawers held dishes, pots and pans, utensils and cutlery. It's where we have always stayed! Both have subdued tropical dcor with modern touches. It has easy access to the beach & the indoor water park is a MUST in the winter! The rooms are very spacious. We were married in Myrtle Beach in 1996. With two indoor water parks and a location right on the beach, Dunes Village Resort is equipped for both sunny and rainy days.

While these aren't "drop-off" programs, and you are responsible for your own children, some programs actively involve the entire family. the staff was super friendly and helpful in keeping our group of friends together as we were having a mini reunion with our friends that we made when we all adopted our daughters from China. We stayed from May 15 - 22, 2016 in an Ocean Front Queen Suite in the Palmetto building, which is actually a one bedroom condo. Dunes Village offers much more than a place to stay. During the warm weather, families are invited to Movies on the Lawn, which are shown on a giant inflatable screen that can be seen from the pool deck or the beach. Had a WONDERFUL TIME. Hotel was huge and was very clean. I am so ready to return to Dunes Village. Also would love to win the gift card to take him and buy him some clothes . Theres an indoor lazy river, indoor and outdoor pools, whirlpools, plenty of lounge chairs, and a poolside bar and restaurant. We had a few days of bad weather, but with the indoor water park and pools that didn't stop my daughter from swimming. Dunes village did not have even a true indoor pool. Highly recommended. Love the view and closeness of the beach. Best time with familyso much to do.and so close to all attractions..!!! Title says it all! There was 6 in our part and the rooms are very spacious . We have done a lot of the attractions and now go to relax and find new adventures. Our favorite thing we did was Ripley' s Aquarium. Our room was oceanfront view. Love it.

Very clean, staff was very good, friendly,helpful great place to stay. Please place dirty linens and trash outside your door in the hall and our staff with automatically pick up these items for you throughout the day. The bar at the pool was great. The indoor waterpark was great. She loved the kiddie pool area everything was wonderful for a 5 year.The snow cone guy in the sand area was very good idea considering it was 98 in July.It was just a really SUPER place to stay!!! Restaurant right there, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are several restaurants within three blocks of the resort, but little else. Had a great time. I reported them to the desk and the next day I took some photos and stopped at the desk. Always enjoyed it! Friday and Saturday 6am-7pm. The staff were all very friendly. I'm a disabled veteran a motorized wheelchair I came up to Myrtle Beach to relax and have a little fun and I had the time of my life I was not interrupted on my trip by any problems whatsoever I even rode the ferris wheel in my wheelchair all my friends are jealous of me and I love it. Both the Lazy River and the Pool by the Palms Tower are heated, as are the indoor pools. There were a few minor problems, but they either rectified them immediately or have since reached out to me and guaranteed the issues will not happen on our next visit. The service is excellent. What to expect during your stay: Some rooms are small with somewhat outdated furnishings and appliances, while others have completely renovated kitchens. I love to travel and I go to a lot of resort but Shanee at the Dunes impressed me. Housekeeping staff will not be entering the rooms for daily service. She had never been to the beach.
